The Administrators of the "Xena Movie Campaign" are all volunteers. This means most of our free time is spent here at the Campaign performing wonderful things from the very top of Mount Olympus! Okay, maybe not Mount Olympus. Ya'know, no internet up there - cold and drafty.


Currently the Administrator's (In Alphabetical Order) are as follows.

ARIEL W. (USA) (Scorpio)
Her role/s in the Campaign: Her largest contributions are made while representing the Campaign at conventions.
How she got into Xena: Warrior Princess: "In 2010, I was playing Final Fantasy XIII with a not-so-subtle lesbian subtext between two characters, Fang and Vanille. When the game ended, I wanted more subtext and remembered what they said about Xena and Gabrielle. I watched the first episode and was quickly delighted by Gabrielle's line, "She'd never let a man close enough to do her"."
Other Interests and Hobbies: Kung Fu, Parrot Rescue, Bike Riding, Reading and watching Science Fiction.

CANDE B. (USA) (Pisces)
Her role/s in the Campaign: Her main focus is graphics and media editing, but she writes a lot as well.
How she got into Xena: Warrior Princess: "I am a warrior at heart and always valued the search for internal peace. So, the first time I saw Xena bury her armor, I was interested in finding out why. Gabrielle seemed to be the Yang to Xena's Yin. These very opposite forces complemented each other, and much later found harmony in each others presence by sharing in one another's experiences. I am also a believe in soul mates, I guess I'm a romantic. So the idea that these two forces were destined to meet again, and again really gave me a little hope to never stop looking for my own, as I say - Gabrielle. I haven't found her, but I think I just haven't buried my own armor yet."

GRETCHEN S. (USA) (Cancer)
Her role/s in the Campaign: Helps with the conception of ideas, and helps get them organized so that they can get put into action.
How she got into Xena: Warrior Princess: "I saw this show one day where this woman was deeply troubled, and she had this younger girl companion who was helping to talk her in and out of things - I was intrigued. No other show has had this strong a feminine presence. It wasn't your typical action hero story. There's so much more that meets the eye that you have to watch the series to find out."

Her role/s in the Campaign: Write-ups, edits, and scheduling.
How she got into Xena: Warrior Princess: "I got into it when it first aired. The themes of the show and friendship between Gabrielle and Xena appealed to me. I got back into it not long before joining the campaign due to re-runs shown on Australian television."

How she got into Xena: Warrior Princess: "I started watching it when I was six with my dad. I've been a Xenite for 3/4ths of my life!"

His role/s in the Campaign: Helps with the conception of ideas, scheduling, write-ups.
How he got into Xena: Warrior Princess: "I started watching Xena when it first aired. I instantly identified with Xena because she was a woman who refused gender stereotypes or roles. I was always adverse to typical "boy" activities and preferred playing with dolls and games of house over cars and war. Xena made me feel like it was okay to be different. Not just okay, but GOOD. Not only that, I have struggled with depression (even as a child) and here was this heroine who had a dark nature. Xena controlled her darker nature by thinking about those she cared for (Gabrielle) to make better choices. I have gotten better at managing my depression using that same method. So, Xena is a fantastic role model. Xena for life!"

How he got into Xena: Warrior Princess: "One day I saw the show on television and watched an episode. I instantly fell in love and from there on, tried to watch as much as I could."

What else do we do?
Well, we really don't keep track of it half the time! We have people who focus mainly on finding information. We have people mainly focused on the multimedia aspect (i.e. graphics, video, video editing, flash, etc.), people focused on edits, and others focused on other platforms (Twitter, Youtube, Merchandise, Tumblr, etc).
